There is to be a trot at Kensington on Dominion Day, besides other sports, and a number of the citizens here are making preparations to be in attendance. The races are under the management of Mr. George Sims, Kensington, the owner of the imported stallion ‘* Sir Edwin.” I am glad to be able to announce that Hon. J. C. Pope is improving in health. The last time Dr. Hobkirk, of Charlvtte- town, visited him, he found his patient much better than he anticipated.
