The general list was again very irregular with a few specialties making individual advances, while the great body of the market was again more or less reactionary. I have not changed my opinion that n substantial- setback is gcund 10 occur before long. This refers, of course, not to the stocks that have already sold off 20 points ur more during the plot month- but to those that are still near the top and have reacted only a point or two from their recent highs. Douglas Aircraft will resume dividends in about 2 weeks and the stock should have a further ~ rise of 3 or 8 points. Amercian Power and Light 6 per cent pid will also resume divi- dends this month snd purchases from 36 down up maybe 35 should show a. substantial profit during the next few weeks. _ Bohn. Aluminum. repeatedy re- commend around 44 recently clos- ed at 45% and I expect to see it near 50 again- Manhattan modi- fied rose 2 points more to 24%. Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit rose 2 points more, while Interboro got up to 17% closing at 17, These three stocks have now had the six point advance that I predicted about three weeks ago and on any further bulge would sell out half of them.
