This year’s presi- dent, Colin Campbell,a fourth year psychology student, plans to change all that, and has started by giving the society a much needed facelift. “We've adopted a new name in order to separate ourselves from other year’s societies shortcomings-PASS- The Psychology Arts and Sciences Society.” Along with creating a new name hardworking PASS executives have spent the summer planning fun social activities for the school year. The kick off to these events begin in the last week of September. President Colin Campbell had this to say. “Upcoming events include psy- chology themed trivia at the Wave Sept 27 from 4-6 p.m., that same week on Thursday we'll be having the first of monthly psychology movie nights hosted by Dr. Jason Doiron. Finally,on that Friday PASS and any interested psychology students will be playing the professors at beach volleyball. And that’s just for September. For the rest of the year we’re planning a night at the Wave, maybe a coffee house, fundraisers, a psychology clothing sale, potlucks and maybe a Pub Sit(for lazy drinkers). We’ve also created a new psychology society website.” Besides the social aspect, the re- vamped society will be working along- side professors to create a career day and promote guest speakers. The so- ciety is open to new ideas and can be reached through their website.
