of forty-eight pieces of Orenberger-M ink and Squirrel furs, comprising ruffs,
muffs and scarfs, in the latest designs-inaiiy of them only one sett of its kind.
They were sent to the Island by mistake _
The iiriu they were shipped to, would not take delivery as they were not
as ord red. They were held in the Customs bonded warehouse for the last three
months, to the shippers order . _
We received orders to pay the duty and sell them for what they would
bring, as re-shipping back to London would cost too much.
We will not stock these Furs, but will dispose of them at a price that will
make them scamper. If you are interested in Fur buying this fall, the prices
will be as low, if not lower, than furs are offered at during January after stock is
depleted and fur season over.
