FYFE The death occurred st his home Stanley Bridge on July 8th of Alf- red E. Fyfe in his 15th year. The deceased was apparently in his usual good health to within a. few weeks of his passing when he suf- fered s. heart condition from which he never recovered. In his pus-sins Stanley Bridge and surrounding districts has suffered the loss of a kind neighbour and upright citizen. Born in Stanley Bridge and where he always resided, the late Mr. Yyfo was an outstanding farm- er. In his home he radiated hos- pitality and friendliness; young and old. friend and stranger were always kindly welcomed. Mr. Fyfe was a man of high ideals, whose interest and willing support were always cheerfully given to any cause which advanced the bet-ter- ment of the community. To the poor he was o. friend indeed. In his death the United Church has lost one of its best supporters. The funeral service which was very largely attended was held from his late residence followed by a. service ln the United Church on Sunday July 10th and was conducted'by the pastor, Rev. George Gough assisted by Rev. W.I. Green. A duet was effectively rendered by Messrs Andrew John- stone and Ernest Dunning. l-Ie is survived by three sons.
