      scholarships
      with
     
     
      December
      deadlines
      available
      to
      UPEI

      The
      Orville
      Erickson
      Memorial
      Scholarship
      Fund
     
     
      This
      Fund
      was
      established
      in
      1975
      in
      memory
      of
      an
     
     
      outstanding
      conservationist
      and
      outdoorsperson,
      the
     
     
      late
      Orville
      Erickson,
      of
      Prince
      Albert,
     
     
      Saskatchewan.
      The
      purpose
      of
      the
      Fund
      is
      to
     
     
      provide
      financial
      assistance
      to
      students
      pursuing
     
     
      higher
      education
      in
      the
      field
      of
      conservation.
      In
     
     
      gencral,
      all
      students
      must
      be
      competent,
      full-time
     
     
      Students
      registered
      in
      a
      _
      rccognized
      Canadian
     
     
      ¢ducational
      institute
      and
      be
      citizens.
      of
      Canada,
      or
     
     
      landed
      immigrants,
      with
      the
      intent
      of
      working
      in
     
     
      Canada.
      All
      applicants
      must
      be
      in
      need
      of
      financial
     
     
      assistance
      to
      pursue
      their
      course
      of
      study.
      Trustees
     
     
      will
      evaluate
      applications
      in
      June
      and
      December.
     
     
      Applications
      are
      available
      at
      the
      Department
      of
     
     
      Student

      Senior
      year
      at
      university
      who
     
     
      has,
      during
      previous
      years
      at
      umiversity,
      given
     
     
      evidence
      of
      outstanding
      academic
      achievement
      and
     
     
      Student
      leadership
      in
      the
      university
