GRAND ‘TRACADIE SCHOOL CONCERT A largo number of parents and visitors attended the concert at Grand Tracadie School on Decem- ber 15th. A splendid programme was put on by the pupils under the direc- lion of_ their teacher, Miss Mary Duffy. The opening greetings were in the form of a recitation given by Neville Watts. Before the arrival of Santa Claus the pupils sang “Santa Claus Is Coming." Oii Santa's arrival he was wel- comed by tho teacher, and was assisted by Winnie Watts, Marie Watts and Josephine Roberts, in distributing gifts to the children; also a beautiful gift was presented to the teacher. The programme consisted of 27 selections and was announced by Harry Watts. Near the end of the programme Rev. Father Wood, in a few well chosen words, told of the fine entertainment that must have been enjoyed by everyone; and thanked the teacher and pu- pils for their kind invitation and remembrance.
