A VERY pretty and quiet wedding
took place at the residence of Horatio
Nelson, Esq.. father of the bride. Miss
Alive Nelson, of Montague, and Mr.
Clarence White were made one. The
knot was tied by Rev H Penna. The
bride looked charmingin a dress of
Kitchener blue trimmed with chiffon,
and was supported by Miss Ella Phil-
lips, dressed in cream. The groom was
supported by Mr. H. J. Nelson, brother
ofthe bride. On acconn: of the illness
of Mrs. Nelson. the bride’s mother,
only a few of the immediate friends
were present. The presents were nu-
nferous and handsome. The members
the choir of the Methodist church pre-
sented ibe bride with an address and a
very handsome parlor lamp as a. token
of esteem and appreciation of her valu-
able assistance to the choir of which she
has been a member for a good miny

St Paul’s when the Bishop spoke upon
the Chastisement of God. As this is a
subject which is very much misunder-,
