I. wildlife Federation -- - - - Lorne Keizer I The president, Ian Kaoeuarrie, n 5 made a presentation to government to state the importance of preserving the ew remaining natural areas on P. 3- i- As well, he emphasized the necessity of effective legislation to protect these areas- In particular Bro MacQuarrie outlined the detrimental environmental effects of the proposed development at Cable Head and the removal of sand from the once stabilized dunes at Black Pond- The DeRoche Pond Committee has presented a Management Plan for DeRoche POint Ponds to the Board of Directors.
