NICHOLSON On the morning of August 7. 1938, Mr. John A. Nicholson. aged 58. passed quietly away at the family home in Wood Islands, P. E. I. sf- ter a protracted illness of 8 months. Early in February Mr. Nicholson was stricken down with pluresy and neither the loving care of the fam- ily nor medical aid was able to re- store him to health and strength, due to his weakened condition fol- lowing the severe illness. Mr. Nicholson is survived by a widow and 8 children: Alexander, in Winnipeg; Daniel and George in Medicine Hat; Anna. (Mrs. J.J. Gil- lis) in Melville; Allan, May. Wini- fred and Kathryn at home. The funeral was held at the home on Thursday morning,,August 9th, at 10.00 o'clock. with interment in the Wood Islands Cemetery. His many friends mourn with the family the loss of such a splendid friend and neighbor‘ and extend to the bereaved their deepest and heartfelt sympathy.
