Mr. A. S. Hop- klns, presiding. the members un- anlmously agreed to support Lilo stand of the people of Bedeque area to have the Borden-Bummer- side highway come through Cent- ral Bcdeque. The meeting was ad- dressed by representatives from Bedeque, Messrs. T. J. Inma.n. John Wright and Ralph Callbeck and they brought forcibly to the atten- tion of the Board the reasons why the road from Borden to Slimmer- side be continued along the route of the present highway to Central Bedeque and thence to Summer- side. The Board unanimously passed a resolution that the Summerside Board of Trade strongly recommend that. the Summerside-Borden high- way. connecting with the Trans Canada Highway follow the most idlrect route. via Central Bedeque ' corner to Summerside.
