He would be seen often in downtown streets with his dog. For many years his pet was Buddy, a white English bull ‘don. Lat/er he had another English bull. Mister. Mr. Coombs’ health began to fail some time ago. He was admitted to Waterbury hospital last May and discharged July 5. I-le returned to the hospital July 19 and had been a pat- ient until his death. He attended his last service at the Second Church July l8 when Rev. Dr. Albert Buckner Coe. former pas- tor of the church, officiated. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Rob- ert Buck, Pasadena, Calif; a nephew Albert Edward Buck. in nnvai ser- vice at LaGuardla Field, N. Y. and two nephews in Toronto.
