The 10gical semi-final series would- have been Souris against Morell and Lot 16 against Sherbtroo e. This present series makes travel expenses high. Turning to bowling, the Truck- men have clinched first place in the Morell Bowling League. The St. Peters Lake team will finish in second. The schedule is actually at an end, but enough postponed games are to, be play- ed to draw the finish out until the middle of this month. In the last few years a lot of talk has occured concerning a King's County Title in bowling. A league has been suggested, and other ideas submitted. A Morell bowler has come up with a one day series to decide‘ the title. The champions of Souris, Morell and St. Peters would meet in a tourna- ment at one of the Alleys to de- cide a winner. After all leagues decide their winner, let’s look into this. In Souris, finalists in both the Men's and Women's leagues have been decided. The Country Cou- sins upset the Blue Goons in the semi-finals to advance against the Abbies. Both these teams are upset winners. The Abbies upset the Calim Jumpers in the first round. This series will get under- way this week. In the Men’s league, the upstart perfeetionists eliminated the Lobster Kings. After losing the first game, the Perfeetionists came back to take the next two to advance to the‘finals. In the finals they’ll meet the powerful Ramblers. Both final series will be best three games out of five.
