Hicks, wife of the late Robert Hicks of 11 Copp Avenue, Amherst, Nova Scotia, passed away at her home after being in poor health for the past three years. She was ‘the daughter cf the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Allen of Prince Ed- ward Island and was the last sur- viving member of the family. Born in Searltown, Prince Edward Is- land 77 years ago, Mrs. Hicks had lived in Amherst for the past six- teen years. Her husband pre- deceased her in 1922. She is cu:- vivcd by three sons, Percy of Somervllle, Mass, Major of King- ston, Ontario and Howard of Min- to, New Brunswick, who was with ner at the time cf her death. On October the 13th the largely attended funeral service was held at the Furlong Funeral Home. Thc service was conducted by Captain J. H.
