Sir, — Having had vecasion tocross the har- bor in the steamer Southport I consulted the published time table to learn that the hour of departure was 4 o'clock ; but on arrival at the wharf 1 was surprised to learn that the hour had been changed, and that the steamer had sailed an hour previous. This shows a surprising want of enterprise or appreciation of printer’s ink on the part of the able Superintendent of Public Works. The failure to advertise the changed time table, in view of the low ad- vertising rates charged by Tae Examiner, savors too much of cheese paring. RaMBLER. HOTEL ARRIVALS. OSBORNE HOUSE.
