It is true that the holders of the offices mentioned are mere farmers and possibly not worthy to he considered in the same class with the Premier and Attorney General when it comes to raiding the treasury. But it seems these modest and unselfish gentlemen not only feel that their own salar- ies to the exclusion of all others should be increased but in order still further to magnify their al- lowances from the treasury they have advanced the claim for an ad- dit-ion to their sessionai indemnit- ies. The Attorney General now rc- ceives as salary $1200 a year and $200 sessions! allowance. in all $1400 a year, Although his resi- dence is in Charlottetown he is not at all satisfied with this.
