ceedod to the large living room and
Mr. Fred Jewell acted as chairman.
while Mr. Lester Younker read the
address and Mr. James Vickerson
presented Mr. Jewell with a beauti-

though taken by _surprise lsr. Jewell
thankedtheminaiswwellchoaan
words, and while singing "Por Hs’s
s Jolly Good Fellow" they retired to
the parlour for their evening step.
The rest of the evening was spent
in games and dancing. music being
furnished by Mt. Robert Weeks in
his usual good style. Lunch was
then served by the hostess. In the
wee small hours of the morning
they departed to their respective
homes, .knowing they had spent an
excellent evening. Following is the
