On entering the main door one is surprised at the scene. Around the walls on both sides are arranged the oyster tables, all of which received the liceral patronage of those present. On the end just at the entrance is the art table on which is displayed various articles includ ng college and club colors, oil piintings, fancy frames, etc, are also displayed artistically in this booth- Walking along a litle further you come to the principal ice cream booth, which was also liberally prtronized during the evening. Next is si platform on which are ar- ranged sewirg machines, stoves, clocks etc.. which are forlottery. ‘ At the far end is a beautifully deco- rated booth-attended by equally as pretty maidens-which contains the home-made candy. This also received quite a call especially from the young _men. On one of the variety tables an elec- tric battery created a fund of amuse- ment but not for -the victim who had the poles of the battery in his hands. One feature of the big bazaar was the scarcity of lottery books.
