The Selects earned Team of the: week last week by winning its only start in softball last week 8—3. The game of the week was held last Tuesday, Colonel Red vs. Blanchard. Colonel Red's pitcher was obviously too gentle. Every ball that came over the plate was hit way out in left field. Fanning, was not playing. Many ask me, Jim Fanning, why Selects lost last year in softball? It is because J, Jim Fanning, was not there for many key games and we lost those key games because W Women ’s by the score (16—8) it didn't help at all. However, reliable sources have stated that the game was sab- otaged by, no one else but the ump. One ball was not enough, so he took it upon himself to use two balls in play.
