     THE APRIL 21 PROVINCIAL ELECTION! 
     
     The Student Union is making a proposal regarding financial 
     
    
   
   
    
     assistance for education from the provincial government 
     
     to the three major parties competing for an election victory 
     
     just over two weeks away. You are one of seventeen hund- 
     
    
   
   
    
     red plus students — one of a large group of people 
     
     which could have a substantial impact on the outcome of 
     
     the election. 
     
    
   
   
    
     YOUR CONCERNS REGARDING 
     
     FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ARE IMPORTANT! 
     
     es YOUR VOTE IS IMPORTANT! 
     
     es. Next week you-will-be-asked to -voice-your concern by parti- 
     
     sae cipating in a postcard campaign on campus. When you are 
     
     handed a postcard stating the increases needed for the 
     
     Canada Student Loan and P.E.I. Bursary program, sign 
     
     your name and let your voice be heard. These will be mailed 
     
     to the parties struggling for power and your voice will be 
     
     heard loud and clear. But don’t stop there, contact the 
     
     candidates and express your concern to those who want 
     
     your vote. No doubt, candidates will be on campus, next 
     
     week, to hear your concern as a student and a citizen.
