His last charge was the pa:- ish of Kllninian, and Kilmore Mull, lrom which he retiiorl about a year ago in consequence or his iiClllllllllg health. By a curious coincidence, Mr. LamonVs funeral in Glasgow occurred 0n the day fixed for the induction of his successor in Mull. The induction of the new minister vras therefore preceded by a memqr- liil service for his predecessor. Mr, Lamont came of old Highland swell.
