Toronto, May 29. A special cable despatch to the Globe says! The unofficial Newfoundland dele- gates, I hear, are well satisfied with the re- sult of their labors here so far. The press has given a favorable reception to their views and recognises the importance of the issues and the necessity of a prompt and thorough settlement of the difficulties. Above all there is reason to believe the delegates have been successful in convinc- ing Lord Kuutford of the strong grounds which the ease rests upon.
