chased by Mr. James Jenkins, presi-
dent of the Orwell Cove Institute, for
the use of that institute. This bull
was sold by Mr. Andrew McPherson,
Rocklin. N. S. Calved the property of
.\ir. Geo. \V. \\’ood. & Son. Hazelbroolt,
Southport. Sire of this hull is Pearl-
sione of St. Louis 29641, Grand siri-
thai had more beifers in the record of
perforinauce than any oLlier sire lui-
ported into Canada. The Orwell
(fore Institute is to be congratulated
on securing such ai valuable animal.
