ROB ANGUS, ap? Manager. . ‘ i Mrs. Brown's Case. Toronto, Jan. 26.—A most interesting | case has come to light here, being that of Mrs. Brown, of Agnes St., who for years Las suffered from Bright’s Disease, the last two of which she spent in bed. Her feet were swollen so she could not welk, and | being affected with paralysis she was taken to the Toronto General Hospital, where, | after undergoing a lengthened treatment | which did her no good, and receiving | nothing in the way of consolation save 4 | certificate that she was incurab!e and a permit admitting her to the Home for In- curebles. Even then she did not give up| hope and tried Homeepathic treatment, but | with as little reaults as the other. There, seemed nothing left but to go tothat retreat where only those who are beyond all human aid are admitted, and there wait for death to relieve her of her sufferings. She heard of that wonderful eure of Sam Murray, of Gravenhurst, by Dodd's Kidoey Pills, and she decided totry them. The first week she noticed very little change, but before she bad finished the second box her back began tu feel easier, the swelling to leave her feet, and by the third week she covid walk, something she had been unable to do for two years before. Now, after taking Dodd’s Kidney Pills for two months she is so completely cured that she is about to take up schvol teaching again, a calling she pursued before losing her health. ‘i a eg ‘*‘Here’s a pretty mess,” shouted the stage manager as he rushed into the pre- sence of the man who was directing the tour of a society actresa, **What’s up ?” “Why, the star has eloped with the policeman we hired to stand in the wings and watch her diamonds.” ome! ~ Hawxer’'s Liven PILts, contain no mercury, are purely vegetable. safe sure and effective.
