Wheat and The Three (our lesson for

that is. that there are disappoint-
ing and unsatisfactory things which
are to be endured upon the part. of
those who look for ideal condition
and unqualified perfection in the
growth and development of the King-
-lom of God.- One must he content to
have his ideal shattered.
Moral conditions which are faulty
and wrong prevent, in the first place,
the seed of the kingdom from a aura
lodgement in good soil. While, in tha
next place, the tleld which is open to
the sower of good seed withholds
not its soil from the sower of evilneed
until the mixture of good and evil
appears-and so alike sometimes that
there ll difficulty; if one would do
it, to separate the false from the
true, the counterfeit from the gen.

But o\ir lesson very definitely sug-
gests that it is one thing to he able
to discern the tures from the wheat
or to feel an itching and clever de-
sire to root them from the wheat,
but that it is another thing to es-
teem it our business to do so. There
are places, and this is one, where it
