The cases against Thomas McGreevy and Nicholas Connolly have been postponed to the next assizes at the request of their connsel. © Parliament will adjourn to-day and Wednesday for Hon. Alex. McKenzie’s funeral. Sir John Thompson, Hon, Mr. Sowell and Mr. Patterson will attend as representatives of the ministry. A _ state funeral was not held—at®the express wish of deceased's family. Mayor Thomas’ Case. Troro, April 19. Mayor Thomas, of Truro, appeared before the bar of the House of Assembly yesterday, and asked that his case be postponed till Wednesday, as his defence was not prepared. The request was granted.
