So you can iln- agine what a feeling of gratitude was felt by our people when we realized that two Roman Catholic congregations and a Presbyterian made up that car which did not go to either of their own communions. Everyone here of course whether a member of the United Church or not received the same allowance. It will be quite hard for people in the East to lmagne what our empty fields look like in the sum- mer. Nearly all were as bare as the , road except for a few patches of; Russian Thistle and a few fields where there was a little crop. You will have to see the country to realize how desolate it looks. But we have had some rain this fall and everyone is hopeful for a good crop molt year. This is a next year country.
