The blinding rain storm literally drenched the men to the skin. Yesterday the trip was a much pleasanter one, the weather being ideal. The incoming boats' brought 62 bags mail which had been delivered at Sackvllle in the morning and carried thence by special to Torlllentlne. This mall was de- livered at all points in Prince Edward Island twenty-four hours earlier than had it come either by Charlottetown or Georgetown. The Post Ofllce and Marine Departments are to be com- mended on their keeping this route in commlssloll until all danger of`delay on the other routes ls over. The crews of these boats as well as their cap- tains will brave any kind of weather or any condition of ice to " deliver the goods."
