He asked permission to ride on a esas belonging to W. R. Watson, Esq. Permission was foolishly granted by a servant, and when the boy mounted, the horse trotted eff at full speed. Lozsster Fisuixc —Our esteemed friend from Little Sands, Duncan Munn, Esq., was in town a few days ago, full of vigor and de- termination, fotwithstanding the loss he sus- tained a while age by fire. But what would have disheartened and ruined many a man proved only a slight delay in Mr, Munn’s ease, as he is again pushing the lobster busi- bess through on a large scale. He has an ex- tensive knowledge of the business, and will no doubt secure the reward for his enterprise to which he is entitled. While having a short conversation with him, we learned that the season during which lobster fishing is pro- hibited is not eee applicable on the coast where he fishes—Little Sands. The lobster does not strike that quarter until fully three weeks after the time oy mence taking them in other sections, which is on the 20th of April. We understand there are serious “doubts as to what is the proper season for restrictions, and on this account it seems hard for the fishermen in the above Section to be ae of three weeks’ fishing, which is enjoyed in other parts.
