NEWS FROM CAMP BUCIIAN BY RED PINE CAMP BUOHAN, July 28th —The Honor Patrol flag was wrested from Mink Patrol by the Beaver Patrol of Abe Zakem after a, close inspec- tion and then Tall Timber took his class on pioneering for a timber- felllng period when they felled enough timber to put up a tower when they have completed their lashing instruction. Most of the boys worked on their Athlete's Badge in the afternoon and sev- eral boys completed the test for it. The names of boyg who have passed the various badges will appear in the newspapers on the completion of camp. In the evening the camp was visited by Mr. PR. McCormick, President of the Queen's District Council, who spoke to the boys at their Council Fire. Several original skits, were presented to the boys who expressed their approval with the Scout cheer “Zigamala" 117d then the camp quieoened down for a good night's sleep. CAMP BUGI-IAN, July 29th Immediately after inspection, which was won by the Mink Patrol again, Church Service was held for the Protestants and Roman Catholics. The Protestant service was taken by the Camp Chief, the Rev. SJ. Davies and Blather Rrancls Mac- Donald, assisted by a Seminarian. lVLr. David McTague held the service for the Roman Catholics. In the afternoon parents and friends of the Scouts visited the camp and went around and in- spected the boys Patrol Sites and were very Well pleased with the condition ln which they ‘WM everything.
