This is a. very pretty country, just like a book, everything is so well looked after. We passed through London on the way here could see Windsor Castle but it was a good way off. Plymouth is a very pretty place, the harbor is lined with Forts built of white stone overgrown in places with Ivy even the trunks of the trees are covered with it. Then the narrow white roads lined withfwell trimmed green hedges look very nice. The buildings are all built of eltlier stone or brick with slate roofs.
