SoLDIERS OF THE QuEEN .— Preparations forthe great military drama “Soldiers of the Queen,” which will open on Thursday evening next are being ravidly pushed b. the energetic manager, Mr. Bewley, and are now nearly completed. Some of the erecia' scenery which is in the hands of a local artist is about finished and has received unstinted praise from thoee who have seenit. The production, aside from its artistic qualities, basa special claim upon the people of Charlottetown which entitles it to their hearty seupport, as it is a child of the Island. It was here that the idea was first cou~ ceived, the play written and all the neces- sary auxiliaries financial and artistic were secnred. The money forits production is being*expended in this city. Some of the most prominent residente are taking an active interest in its success, and itis to the well known artistic judgment of the Charlottetown public that the manage~ ment will submit its fate, relying upon their honest criticism to justify the ean- guine expectations of the author. severe vtanetyany eTmetyentenn TT ae | by using our Concentrated essence of Vinegar, Choige Pickling Spices, ete, The Medical Hall J.
