Clara. was born at Charlottetown 27 years ago and was the daughter or Mr. and Mrs. John Carmichael. She was a young woman of good character and was noted for her kind disposition and jovial manner. Although her health was never good her sudden death was a. great shock to her family and friends. For the past two years she was employed on the staff of R. T. Holman Ltd. She was H. member of the Baptist Church. Charlottetown. Her sudden death is a. severe loss to her fs:mily where she was always regarded as a favorite. The numer- ous messages of sympathy and flowers bore silent and eloquent testimony of the popularity of the deceased. Besides her parents she leaves to mourn five brothers. Murray, Horace, Eric and Keith, all of Charlottetown, and Floyd In Mont- real. P.Q.. one brother, Chester. predeceased her several years ago. Her funeral. which was largely attended. was held from the Baptist Church, Charlottetown. The ser- vices at the Church and grave were conducted by the Rev. J. D. David- son. The Church Choir rendered the hymns "Just As I Am" and "Abide with Me" which were two of the deceased's favorite hymns. The pallbearers were Messrs. The mecting closed with the National Anthem, after which a delicious lunch was served by the hostess and committee, the table being decorated for Christmas and lighted by candles.
