Owing to the fact that a grave imputation has been introduced in the questions put in the House of Commons, on Irish affairs, it is contemplated to call the attention of Mr. Gladstone to the necessity of modifying rules relating to questions. The Malagassy envoyjin London, on the 2nd,stated that they have received no fresh instructions since tbe attack by the French on the Malagascar territory. They ex- pressed the belief that property belonging to Americans must have suffered during the bombardment of Majunga, as_ there were two large American houses in the town.
