It is our painful duty to iieccrd the death cf Mrs. James Mclhnis, which sad event occurred at her home in St. Avards on August 20th at the age of 61 years. Mrs. min.- nis had been in delicate health for some‘ time previous to her passing, having undergone an operation some two years sgo from which she never fully recovered. Her death which came suddenly and unexpec- tedly was a. great shook to her many friends and neighbors. Mrs. Moll-mic was of a quiet and pleasing disposition. kind and cour- teous, ever ready ot assist in every charitable and good work. She was a devoted member o! the Roman Catholic Church being a promoter of the Sacred Heart. Mrs. Bentner “ a member of the Bible Christian Church which amalgamated with the Methodist Church now the United Church of Canada and her character was one of quiet beauty seen in her unself- ish service to others. The funeral service was held on September 15th st the home of her doushter. Mrs. James Mcci-e, Hun- ter River, and was conducted by her pastor, Rev‘. I‘. B. Boothroyd, assisted by Rev. Mr. Lancaster.
