     [N pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this 
     
     Island made and passed in the Eleventh year of the 
     
     reign of Her Majesty. Queen Victoria, intitoled “ An Act 
     
     for levying further on Assessment «in all Lands in this 
     
     Colony, and for the encouragement of Education;" and also 
     
     an Act in amendment of the said Act. intituled “An Act 
     
     to explain and amend the present Act for the Assessment 
     
     of Land. and the encouragement of Education ;” and also 
     
     of an Act made and pa.~sed in the twenty fourth year of the 
     
     said reign, intituled, " An Act to raise funds for the pur- 
     
     poses ol Education by imposing an additional Assessment 
     
     on Land in this island. and on real Estate in Charlotte- 
     
     town and Common and Georgetown and Common.” Ido 
     
     hereby give public notice that 1 have made proclamation 
     
     according to the terms of the said Acts, of all the under- 
     
     mentioned Town L its. Water Lots. Common Lots, Pasture 
     
     Lots. Islands. Townships, or parts of Townships, in this 
     
     Island. in arrear for the non-payment of the several sums 
     
     due and owing thereon to Her Majesty, under and by vir-

     0 BE SOLD BY PUBLIC AUCTION ON SATURDAY the 
     
     TWENTIETH day of MAY, A. D., 1865, at the hour of 12 
     
     o'clock noon, at the COLONIAL BUILDING, in CIIARLOTTETOWN, 
     
     under and by virtue of a power of sale, contained in a certain In- 
     
     denture of Mortgage, hearing date the sixth day of February,A.D., 
     
     1861, and made between Edward Henry of Lot or TOWnship Num- 
     
     ber Twenty-one, in Prince Edward Island, Blacksmith, of the one 
     
     part, and William Rattenbury of the same place, Farmer and 
     
     Miller, of the other part : The LEASEHOLD INTEREST of the said 
     
     Edward IIenry, in and to ALL that tract, piece or parcel of land 
     
     and premises, being the southern moiety or half part of a certain 
     
     tract of 200 acres therein mentioned,and which said southern moiety 
     
     is therein described, or bounded as follows, that is to say :—com- 
     
     mencing at a stake fixed in the south end ofthe old Saw Mill dam; 
     
     from thence by a line running won the distance of seventy~eight 
     
     chains; thence north twelve chains & fifty links; thence east to the 
     
     Saw Mill River; thence following the courses of the shore ofthe said 
     
     river southwardly to a stake at or near the turn ol'said river; thence 
     
     south, crossing said river, until it bears due east from the before 
     
     mentioned stake, drove in the south end of the mill dam; and from 
     
     thenCe west to the stake or place of beginning, containing by esti- 
     
     mation One Hundred acres be the same more or less—ALSO ALL that 
     
     other tract, piece or parcel of Land situate on the said Let or Town- 
     
     ship Number Twenty-one. and bounded as follow, that is to say: 
     
     by a line commencing in the most eastern angle of Messrs. Morris’s 
     
     mill-farm, in the north side of Rattenbury’s mill road; and running 
     
     thence by the magnetic meridian of the year 1764, west five chains 
     
     and fifty links; thence north to the south boundary line of 100 
     
     acres in the occupation of the said William Rattenbury; and thence 
     
     along the same cast, to the road aforesaid; thence along the said 
     
     road westerly to the place of commencement; Containing Fifty-five 
     
     (55) acres of land, be the some more or less; together with all Grist 
     
     Mills, Saw Mills, Carding and other 1111113,- 1Iouscs, Buildings, 
     
     Waters, Watcrcourses, Millstreams, Mill-pnvtllges, and appurten- 
     
     ances whatsoevor to the said two several described tracts or 
     
     parcels of land belonging or appertaining.
