EDIQTION DEDLITI‘ION CERI‘IFICATE (T2202A) Full time students are eligible to deduct $50 for each month of full - time attendance during the 1982 taxation year, PrOV' ided the deduction is ver— ified by: the university. Students who do not need the deduction for their own tax return should sign the approved farm 50 thatvanparent, or spouse, my have the benefit of the deduction. ELECTICN: The president of the Stu- dent Union pointed out that the constituticn's guideli- nes for the holding of Stu- dent Union elections would place the election date in the middle of the Universi— ty's spring break. Therefore 2nd Wednesday after the break I would be most suitable for elections as at least a week is necessary for campaigning. NEW SECRETARY The 4 student union recep— tionists hired last term by the hiring board are unable to cover office this senester because of ccnflicting class-- es. An interim secretary was found to cover the times,but it was the feeling of the 2. In ensuing discussion, it was pointed out that because of the many complaints because of the many missed grad pictures, this would be inappropriate.
