E. Island the Mail correspondent had on interview with D. J. Lamont, proprietor of the Lamot Employment Bureau, at 47 Gray St.. in reference to their chances of securing employment. He said that the number of girls coming from the Provinces every year. was increasing; but that wages were decreasing accordingly. What they cod; "green girls,” can be had now for as low as a dollar, or a dollar and a halt it week.
