Mr. Melntyre was, undoubtedly, the most widely kuawg edito~ on Long Island. A year ago his health gave way, and he travelled extensively in the hope of recuperating. Hereturned from the Southern States only recently, and recommenced his literary work, but on Thursday, ]2:h inst., he was compe'led to give up.
