Temple- ton who is conducting a five-day evangelistic campaign in Bodoque and Borden under intardenominat- tonal auspices. Mr. Templeton is Canadian born and began his career as a. sports cartoonist with a Toronto paper. After his conversion to the Christ- ian faith he decided to give his full time to Evangelism. To this end he enrolled as a student in the Princeton Theological Som- inary where he has Just completed the second year of his course. Assisting him in the current series of services is his gifted wife. Mrs. Templeton has won the Cali- fornia "Local Hour" contest and many other awards. and has sung in almost every State of the Union. and in many Canadian cities. Mr. Templeton brought to his congregation a message of such depth of conviction and radiant faith that they have been challeng- ed to accept Christ's way of life as never before. He stated that ha hollowed "We are on the verge of a great Spiritual awakening", and that ”Chrlst is the answer to every human need and problem. In a saving relationship with God through Jesus Christ is our only hope for peace, happiness. lives of power and general usefulness. and relationship between men which is truly Christian." Rev. On many occasions she filled im- portant offices in the organizat- ions of the church. including the Woman's Missionary Society and the Woman: Christian Temper- ance Union. She was a life mem- ber of both these Societies.
