The late Mr. Sharpe had been ln uncertain health for some time, and on the previous Wednes- day hiad entered the hospital for treatment, but uii-til Monday morn- ing, when death caime, with little warning. his condition had not been considered critical. He was a successful farmer at Norboro, where he was born 80 years ago, a son of the late “Master" John Sharpe, and his wife fonnerly Miss Hig- gins. He regularly worshipped in Margate Church. formerly Meth- odist. now United. He was a. chart- er member of Caldwell L.O.L., a very loyal member for fifty years, and a. member oi the Grand Lodge. Left to mourn the loss of a kind and upright husband and father. are his wife, the former Laura Heaney, two sons, Stanley at. Mal‘- gate, and Lindsay, at NOMDOFO. One sister, lvirs. A. R. Brown, Brcadvicw, Sask» also survives. and seven grandchildren. The funeral was held on Wednesday frcm his late residence, and was largely attended. At the home, his pastor, Rev. G. S. The Commercial Bowling League is playing its regular Wednesday night games tonight because cf the fact that the stores will remuin open on Wednesday evening.
