The completion of the Personal Information Form is the first step in 'seeking permanent, summer, part—time or casual employment. Representatives from approximately sixty-five employers will-be visiting the U.P.E.I. campus from mid—October to March to interview graduating students for permanent or summer employment and to interview undergraduates for summer employ- ment. The bulletin boards located in Main are "master" bulletin boards and all Canada Manpower Centre on Campus notices will appear on these boards. One of the major reSponsibilities of the Canada Manpower Centre on Campus is that of employment counselling. Through indivdual and group activities: goal—set— ting, personal and group in— ventory, self-discovery and support, participants in a Human Potential Seminar are led to discover areas of po- tential growth and develop- ment they never realized they possessed. WHAT THE H.P.S. IS NOT The Human Potential Seuh inar is NQI_a T-group of sensitivity session in any sense of the terms. There is no manipulation of emo- tions or rigged confronta- tions. What the Human Po— tential Seminar seeks to do ‘is to help you discover re- sources in your personality, affirm these and encourage you to make use of them. In a word, to find greater hap— piness in self-fulfilment. WHO MAY PARTICIPATE? If you are a normal, av- erage human being, you ful- fil the basic requirement. True, it has been found that the Human Potential Seminar has been of extraordinary help to people who feel they are somewhat shy. And al— though not an adjunct of Weight Watchers Inc., the H.P.S. can be helpful also to those who feel that plumpness constitutes a minus rather than a plus in their lives. But the basic requirement in the H.P.S. is that you be an average per- son, desirous of discovering and developing more of your self. ENROLMENT LIMIT The optimum number for a Human Potential Seminar is 10. TIME AND PLACE The H.P.S. is scheduled to begin Monday, September 22nd at 7:30p.m. in room 315 Dalton Hall.
