Mrs. Crooks, formerly Sophia Grecnsn, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Greenan and was born and lived practically all her life at Cape Traverse. Of late years ill health kept her much confined to her home where she was a devoted wife and mother. As a. kind friend and neighbor she will be sadly missed but it is in the home where her loss will he most. keenly felt. During her last years her chief hobby in the home was the raising of house flowers and her home was filled with their fragrance and beauty. and asshc lay ill her casket. the beautiful floral tributes of friends and relatives which banked the mom seemed fitting tributes of love and esteem. Esther at home. Following s short service at the home. funeral service was held in Cape Traverse United Chulich. Rev. E. R. Woodside preached the funeral sermon. He was assisted by Rev. Mr. Hicks of ‘Iryon. The pail-bearers‘ were Albert MacDonald. David Murphy. Frank Campbell. Claude Howatt, Leon- ard Cameron and Keith Lord.
