Chandler S’Side Tovm Gouncil Meets The regular monthly meeting of the Summer-side Town Council was held last night in the council chamber. Mayor Lidstone presid- ing. All councillors were present with the exception of Councillors Smfillman and MacNelll. The following town bills were read and passed: Paid bills $1511.- 20. unpaid $1693.72. Electric light: paid $1314.43, unpaid 63838.80. The different reports for the month were submitted and passed. Councillor Molllson in submitting his report was (pleased to state that street expen ltures from the beginning of the year up to the present were $430.00 less than the corresponding date last year and he commended Councillor Gorrlll very highly on this excellent re- port. Councillor Gorrlll in submit- ting his report stated that the streets were in good condition. The police report showed that there were 41 convictions for drunkenness, two for theft. two for drunken driving, one summons for speeding. one conviction for driving without license. One com vlction for milk under test. Fines collected $361.00. Councillor Wedge mmarlfpd this was the largest amount of fines ever collected in one month.
