But many citizens lingered about the square until the laet ve-tige of the bonfire disappeared. After the bonfire the setting off of fire-~ wirks was continued, this feature of the celebration covtinuing until wei] up to midnight. The manoer in which the celebration of tLe Sl+t birthday of Victoria the Good was celebrated in Charlottetown will Cbg remain a pleasant memory.
