The excellent order which prevailed dur- ing the whole entertainment and the prolonged applause which greeted each number testified to its interest- ing nature. To discriminate between the different features would be merely to offer an opinion as it was impos- sible to judge from the applause or subsequent comment which number carried off the "palm," The patriotic drill, Canada, was said by some to be n whole concert in itself. Besides be- ing appropriate, the variety of coo- tumes worn by the representatives of the different nations presented a plc- ture which wal excellent and pictur- esque. Other excellent features were the duets, the Little Mothers' drill, the pantomime. etc. Perhaps the "cutest" thins. however. in the whole concert was a solo by little Louis Halley.
