Mr. B alley, Mir. Collett, Mr. P. Trainor, Mr. B. D. All! partis claim that this route is practicable | level ground and a straight line. The| length of this line is, I believe, only eighteen miles, making it twelve miles nearer Charlottetown from Cape Traverse than the County Lyne Ronte—opening up one of the mt important ferming com- munities on the Island. It would there- fere benefit a large section of this country, Lota Twenty-seven, Twenty-eight, Twenty- nine, Thirty Sixty-seven and Sixty five, also also taking to market Our surplus produce, which had heretofore to be stored over winter, therefore causing a serious loss to our merchants. - Then let us all unite and return the Government Candidates to power, who will be in a position to carry out this great object which is attracting the attention of the electors at the present time. Rhoails, residing at No. 214 W. Ninth street, says he knows more about the law of contrast than he did last winter. He did not know then what inflammatory rheumatism was. He has since been tho- rotghly initiated into all its mysteries, and there is a very steep contrast between the feelings of a man when he is dosed with rheumatism and enjoying immunity from it. Daring the Christmas holidays he was aroused from his sleep about two o’elock in the morning by a terrible pain in his right hand and wrist. He felt as if his arm weighed a ton and had been crushed by an elephant. He never did have anything to He didn't steep any more that night, for the pain grew rapidly worse until eight o'clock, when he appiied St. Jacovs Oil. His hand had grown so stiff by the time the first application was made that he could not move a finger, and even St. Jacobs Oil could not induce the disease to leose its grip until it had been used two days. At the end of that time, however, the famous old pain annibilator droye ont the last vestige of pain and he was all right again and ready to eat, sleep and enjoy himself like other men. He has not had any sign of it since and does not care to make its acquaintance, JUST RECEIVED! Children’s Carriages and Express Wagons, YEAT STYLES, CHEAP, at N : H. COOMBS’.
