A Ceyrewartan- Mrs. Edward Taylor, of Afton, Antigonish County, N. 8S. cele- brated her ove hundredth birthday on Sunday, Novewber l4th. Mrs. Taylor was born in Gnysboro County, Nova Scotia. OBITUARY. | The death of Christina C, Stewart, wife | of Rev. A. A. McLeod, occurred at Belle | River, November 16. Her life was thus given to the work of her Master. Having vo children of her own, her time was more completely at the disposal of others. In so short a period of time few lives are permitted to see such fruits of their toil, Mrs. McLeod was the daughter of Mrs. Mary M Stewart, of Belle Kiver, and was favourably known in different Island com- munities as a public school teacher. Her remains were interred at Belfast, the Rev. J.C.
