W'right`s usual hap. py Style. Stirring addresses were given by Bros. Joe Wright and Curtis Lord. There were three dialogues, which called forth iteals of laughter, acted by members and others. Bro. Fred Bell gave a comic reading. Miss Ha\‘es` solo and Miss Lowthfr"s reci- tations were loudly applauded. Bro. John Hyde gave a recitation and a solo which received an encore. After the programme, tables were set which fairly groaned under they gocd things provided by the ladies. When the wants of the inner man had been fully satisfied the following toasts were pro- posed: The Queen, responded to by singing the National Anthem; King William, responded to by Bros., J. W. Anoor two weeks ago Mr. Edgar P. Strung, who was riding his bicycle on the siclewaik,came in collision with Mr. Ernest Dawson. The latter took Mr. Strang’s wheel to the police station and Mr. Strung was tincd $5.48 for infring- ing the city by laws. 'He retained Mr. W. S. Stewart, Q. C., to take proceed- ings for damages. The result was that Mr. Strang was reimbursed in a satisfactory amount. and his wheel was returned to him at Mr. Stewart`s of- fice.
