after being submitted to lengthy ex-
amination on the Part of Premier
Caillnux and Foreign Minister De-
Selves, it was decided to refer the
proposals to specialists on Moroccan
questions._When the specialists have
formed an opinion the Premier will
call il meeting of the Cabinet .anid lay
before it the whole matter for de-
cision.
Germany asks, it appears, that
every claim of German' subjects to
concessions in Morocco shall be re-
cognized by France, and that no new
enterprise shall be started under the
Frc-:ich protectornte without being in-
ternntionnlized equally.
The claims of German subjects,
particularly those of Maimesmann
Hrotheri-i, and speculative companies,
organized by them, are enormous.
The German terms also ask for a
free hand in Morocco, with conditions
that would, according to the French
view, deprive France of all her advan-_
tages, and would give Germnnv privi-
leges in Morocco beyond those of any
power, even France. _
There seems no likehood of the
French Government accepting the
